Top tips and key considerations

Make sure the booklet is used alongside the guidance sheet, the guidance sheet gives an overview of what the learner will be working towards and also explains what other topics will be covered in the booklet. Finally there is a resource section that has links to websites and a description of what can be found to support learning (All links have been checked).

Activities have been made as appealing as possible / keeping them real where possible.

Encourage learners to use the Key terms sheet within the booklet, this supports learners to research what a word means if they are unsure.

Learners focus on one task at a time to ensure they are clear of the expectations.

It is vital that learners suggest / agree deadlines for submission of work. Supports with their motivation to complete tasks.

*Extension Task – Conduct an over the phone / Microsoft Teams mock interview with the learner.
